What is The House?
The House is Patch DNA’s AI Serum 2 preset generator for House music. Choose a genre and a sound type, generate a playable preset, and develop the result into your own musical idea.
Is this a preset pack?
No. The House generates new Serum 2 presets inside your production workflow. Explore a result with More Like This, shape it with the available controls, or keep editing in Serum 2.
Which House styles does it cover?
The genre menu contains Afro House, House, Melodic House & Techno, Progressive & Deep House, and Tech House. Sound choices depend on the selected genre.
What kinds of sounds can I explore?
Explore basses, leads, plucks, pads, ARP, chords, SEQ, stabs, synths and FX across the House collection. Choose the sound category available in your selected genre.
Do I need Serum 2?
Yes. The House works with an installed and activated copy of Xfer Serum 2. Serum 2 is a separate product and is not included.
Can I edit the generated preset?
Yes. Preview and play the result, use its active macros and Pitch, then select Open Serum 2 to continue editing the full preset. The result stays fully editable in Serum 2.
Does generation work offline?
Yes. Generation runs locally. After activation, you can work offline for up to 14 days before reconnecting to renew your license. Downloads and updates also need an internet connection.
What happens to the sounds I want to keep?
Use Creations and Favorites to return to your ideas. Save the generated Serum 2 preset and keep developing it in your own sessions.
When can I buy The House?
The House is $129 as a one-time purchase, with no subscription. Available for macOS 14+ and Windows 11 x64 (build 26200 or later). Your license and available installers are delivered through your Patch DNA account.
