What is Patch DNA?
Patch DNA is an AI-powered bass preset generator for Xfer Serum 2. It creates playable Serum 2 presets for Drum & Bass, Neurofunk, Dubstep and modern bass-driven EDM.
Do I need Serum 2?
Yes. Patch DNA hosts and controls your installed copy of Serum 2, so Serum 2 must be installed and activated.
Which systems and plugin formats are supported?
Patch DNA supports macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon and Intel, and Windows 11 64-bit. VST3 is supported on both platforms; Audio Units is supported on macOS. Windows 10 22H2 64-bit is currently best-effort and is not an official support target.
Does generation require an internet connection?
No. Internet is required for activation, downloads and updates. Preset generation works offline after activation.
